Making XR games requires programming, and quite a lot of it. Game Programming is one of our largest departments. That does not mean our programmers are small cogs in a large machine, but rather an integral part of the game teams. Together with the other departments, we form game teams, where the programmers job is to bring all the pieces together, from the game designers' brilliant mechanics, the artists' stunning visuals, the musicians' epic scores, into a cutting edge XR game.
Our programmers tackle a wide range of challenges, ranging from visuals and shader programming, through game mechanics, networking, physics, tooling and product line engineering. We use modern tools and processes, and choose them to fit our needs. Most of us work in Unity, but for projects when Unity is not the best tool, we use whatever is.
