In the Audio Department at Resolution Games, we work with the creation and implementation of sound fx ,music, audio code and voice production both for our games and trailers. This also means working in the game engine and a variety of 3d party tools. Together with all other disciplines we collaborate to build our games.
The Audio Department creates all content that is audible in our games and trailers, the sound fx and ambiances helps to sell the illusion that you are transferred to another place. The audio together with the visuals are pivotal for a great gaming experience. Imagine watching a movie without sound. The music is used for emotional impact, to accentuate the mood of the game regardless of the setting or state and it can be everything from comedy to horror.
We aim to be at the forefront of game audio development. Taking ownership and proactively identifying the audio needs in the projects from pre-production to delivery is crucial. The team is constantly working with new tech and are always encouraging people to develop new skill sets.
