Resolution Games is a games studio with a proven track record creating immersive gaming experiences for all. We believe that VR and AR aren’t just an add-on for gaming; they are the next logical steps for games. We are now looking for our next community manager.

About the role

As a Community Manager at Resolution Games, you will be responsible for cultivating, growing, and activating the community and social media accounts around our games. You will work closely with the marketing and game development teams to increase the size of our audience and the impact of our marketing efforts. You will also be responsible for measuring the success rate of our content and community campaigns and relaying community input to the relevant teams.

What you'll do

• Create and execute community relations strategies and content calendars that drive engagement, retention, new downloads, player interactions, and company awareness for multiple game communities

• Create short form video content and graphics for social media, Discord, dev posts, etc. as well as accompanying social media copy

• Implement, maintain, and grow online presence for specific games, including social media, Discord, Reddit, YouTube and the website

• Collaborate with our game teams to provide better experience to players.

• Monitor and update community content in game stores (reviews, Steam updates, dev posts, etc.)

• Keep up-to-date information on community trends and online communities

• Measuring results of community campaigns and reporting them to stakeholders

Requirements

• Professional experience building and maintaining games communities online as a Community Manager, creating engaging content for an audience, and managing social media tools and platforms

• Passion for games and new technologies

• Knowledge of social media platforms, such as as Discord, Youtube and Reddit

• Experience with video content creation programs (ex: Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects)

• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator or other design programs

• Experience with copywriting

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

• Experience with VR and AR games

• Experience with event marketing including giving demos

• Comfortable being on camera and acting as a spokesperson when needed

• Experience working with team members in multiple locations and time zones
